DESCRIPTION

NAC (N-Acetyl L-Cysteine) is an acetylated non-essential amino acid that has many nutrient benefits for health and performance.

Growing research over the past few years has further increased NAC's popularity due to its many different roles in the body. 

EACH SERVE CONTAINS 800MG OF N-ACETYL L-CYSTEINE (NAC)

In your body the Cysteine (from NAC) combines with Glycine and Glutamine to produce a powerful tri-peptide antioxidant called glutathione. Antioxidants like glutathione help to reduce free radical damage of cells in the body.

Vigorous exercise decreases your bodies amino acid stores and may increase the risk of upper respiratory infections. NAC may help to support your nutrient needs.

DIRECTIONS

Consume 1 scoop (800mg) once daily with food or as advised by your health care provider. 

Mix 1 scoop in 300ml of water or your favourite beverage.

HOW IS NAC DIFFERENT TO STANDARD L-CYSTEINE?

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) is acetylated which means it can pass through the blood brain barrier helping to support healthy brain function. It may also have greater intestinal absorption and reduced first pass elimination over standard L-Cysteine which may result in higher levels available.
