Over the last 40 years, Melrose has grown from a little home office to one of Australia’s leading and most trusted health brands. Today, the Melrose Group has over 100 employees, manufactures in Melbourne, and we are still proudly Australian-owned.

Melrose History
Our story began in 1979 when Geoff Steinicke, a chemist by trade, started to realise the significant benefits health foods and natural supplements could have on overall health. With limited natural products available through Australian pharmacies at the time, Geoff set about importing and selling preventative medicines such as flaxseed oil. Fast forward to today, and we are a passionate team of over 100 people, providing products to millions of consumers worldwide.

Our expert team of food technologists, nutritionists and quality officers are passionate about creating products that make a real difference to your health, and they meticulously test every ingredient that enters and leaves our doors.
Wherever possible, we use ingredients from Australian organic farms. We hold a therapeutic goods processing licence and are certified organic by ACO (the organic certifying arm of the Biological Farmer Association).
We ensure no animal tests have been conducted on our products or ingredients.
We believe our products should be healthy for everyone, including the planet, and that whole body health is all about taking personal responsibility for living well, with integrity.
